(Massage therapy for Lower back, Pelvis, Legs) Low back, hip and legs pain are the most frequent concern that force clients to seek for help of massage therapists. The anatomy and physiology of the pelvis and its relationship to the legs and low back will be reviewed. Participants will learn hands-on assessment and massage techniques to address lower back, pelvis, legs imbalances, chronic conditions, and injuries. You will be able to recommend to your client exercises and stretches for complete recovery and prevention. Specific draping techniques to approach the client with confidence and respect will be introduced.
Students will learn: Review related anatomy and physiology.
Process of rehabilitation and match the physiology of the injury to the massage treatment.
Reveal signs of most common musculoskeletal disorders
Development and adaptation of protocols to address a wide range of complaints and changes in the body
Cautions, contraindication and referrals will be discussed.
